coat, beanie: H&M - purse: Mango - sweater dress: Oasap - legging, cardigan: c/o Bench - ankle boots: c/o Zinda
High time I blogged another outfit! I look a bit yellow in these pics, but my camera was acting up so just ignore that and pretend I'm rosy cheeked. I really like this look, I still think this light grey winter coat was one of my best buys of the last two years. I've been wearing it non stop because it's so warm, yet still very elegant. The length also works with everything, which is something you can't say about shorter coats.
The leggings are also a favourite, it's the first pair of "higher end" (aka more expensive than 10€) pair of leggings I own, and you can really tell. I'm never going back to cheaper leggings! These are much more stretchy, completely opaque and have a wide waist band, which is much more flattering than the narrow ones you usually see on cheaper pairs since a wider band doesn't emphasize any lumps. And since leggings are something I wear multiple times a week (all weekend, sometimes at work), I think spending a little more on a pair that does everything I want it to is definitely something I can justify now that I have a slightly larger disposable income than before.
Also great: these Zinda boots, which I immediately put to use by wearing them to the big conference my university was hosting the past two days. I had two presentations (one paper, one poster), and I'm reasonably sure that these chic-yet-badass boots helped me nail both without completely killing my feet. I'm exhausted now, though, so I'm signing off. Bye!
