dress: COS - ring: Diamanti Per Tutti - watch: c/o Swatch
And finally I can introduce this beautiful COS dress I bought on my birthday with a gift card my boyfriend gave me for Christmas. I love the bright orange colour, the smooth knit fabric, the asymmetrical hem and the fact that you can tie the sash in different ways to get a different look and different draping. Such a sophisticated piece!
COS is my absolute number one favourite store at the moment. They have this very modern, minimalist and effortless chic aesthetic that feels grown up but still young to me. I haven't been out to check the sales that much yet, but I did manage to pick up three new COS pieces that will undoubtedly make their appearance soon.
I've really been trying to pass on trendy crap and only buy items that I love 100%. Pieces that will make me feel like the person I want to feel like, if that makes any sense. These nude suede ankle boots I'm wearing absolutely fit that bill as well. I think that they are definitely my favourite spring-summer 2013 pair of footwear, next to my Nike Air Vortexes of course! I'm sort of dreading their inevitable demise (because: nude suede) so I'll probably replace them when their quality does go down the crapper. With something like these Goldmud ankle boots (enkellaarzen), maybe?
Perfect heel height for me (yes my feet are whiny babies), and they would look so good with skinnies and an oversized cable knit sweater come fall, right? Just don't go stepping in any puddles (or chasing waterfalls, lulzzzz)
I really, really love COS, their style is so linear, simple, minimalistic and classic yet modern <3 the dress you chose looks really pretty on you and yes, really sophisticated and "grown-up" :D
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering, is the sizing the same as H&M? (being part of the same group) We don't have any COS store here (the nearest= Milan, ugh) so I'd have to buy online and I wanted to be sure of the sizing.
Amazing dress and the colour complements your tan perfectly :)
ReplyDeleteCOS is idd een zalige winkel, die kledingstukken zijn zo mooi gesneden.
ReplyDeletej'aime beaucoup la couleur, les bottines aussi, se sont de belles couleurs joyeuses pour l'été
ReplyDeleteuhmmm I'd say that the sizing is pretty similar to H&M, but overall the items are cut better so you're less likely to have pieces in your own size fit you funny which makes you have to size up/down!
ReplyDeleteHet jurkje staat je echt heel mooi :)
ReplyDeleteJaa, cos is ook al een heel tijdje mijn numero uno op het gebied van kleren en accessoires! Simpel, maar toch ook weer niet. Ideaal!
ReplyDeletej'aime j'aime!
ReplyDeleteMooie kleur en mooi kleedje :)

This is a lovely outfit. It's got such great lines. And the color is a stunner.
ReplyDeleteAnd I am totally with you on the way certain clothes can make you "feel like the person you want to be." I've been spending a good deal of time thinking about that lately, and trying to figure out how my style is changing. I'm in a transition period.
I guess we all go through those every so often? Life is change!
ReplyDeleteloving that dress! COS is the best
ReplyDeleteThis dress is so vibrant! It definitely looks sophisticated and pretty on you. I'm loving the boots paired with it too.
ReplyDeleteRadiant! Prettiest dress possible <3
