bias cut skirt: Pull and Bear - tee: Monki - blazer: Zara - chunky sneakers: Stradivarius - Tsuki S backpack/tote: c/o Kipling
Post created in collaboration with Kipling
Let me count the ways I love this skirt. Its perfect marigold shade, its bias cut, its sleek, soft satin fabric, its perfect ankle length hemline paired with that flirty little hem... It had to come home with me. This skirt length is my favourite at the moment because it's so current, feminine without being too overtly sexual, and easily styled with more casual shoes like these chunky sneakers. The weather is finally heating up a bit (a tiny bit though), and I'm having fun with my outfits again. I'm sick of dressing for warmth and comfort, man, I want to play around with my wardrobe.
This Kipling bag is also perfect for playing around, btw. A small city backpack that easily transforms to a tote: perfect to go from my train/bike commute straight into a meeting without looking too much like I'm a student. Youthful and fresh, yes, just left class, no. I am turning 32 soon after all. And I truly believe that the impression you make with your look can make a world of difference
Hope you like the outfit! And that we'll soon get a lot more sunny days. Like, literally and figuratively, whichever you need.
