Hi babes! Back with an outfit to share. I am beyooond sick and tired of this stormy winter weather but I'm crossing my fingers and toes for spring to arrive sooner rather than later. I'm especially tired of my winter wardrobe, typical to someone who's into style probably. It may seem superficial but I have to admit that I get a lot of positive energy out of having fun with my outfits, so that end-of-winter funk just saps me of all of my creativity and inspiration. But this animal print wrap skirt (only €22 via Shein) paired with these cowboy boots do give me a little boost out of that style funk. Still wishing very hard that I can skip the tights and knits sometime soon. Btw, use the code Styling9 to get 10% off your order if your order is over €60.

Lifewise there's a lot on my plate right now, but I feel like each week I get closer to who I was before being laid off. Because yes, the impact of having the carpet pulled away from under me still reverberates in my core. A little less self assured, a little less trusting and optimistic. Sometimes I wonder if this is just a part of growing older and losing some of my youthful positivity, but I honestly think it's a result of being let go from my previous job. I read somewhere that being laid off has a bigger lasting impact than actually being fired, and that people that were let go are less trusting of others for years and years after the event, even after finding new employment. It helps to read that my feelings aren't uncommon, and it helps to talk about it to relieve some of the pressure.

Life is hard enough without having to bottle everything up.

Here's to sunnier days, literally and figuratively!
