My title refers to the Lady Gaga documentary that aired on MTV a few days ago, if you like Gaga and if you haven't seen it yet: go check it out! Very honest, heartfelt and touching. Loved the bit about Bruce Springsteen who is like, my ultimate idol. If I ever get a tattoo it will either be a small anchor with my boyfriend's initials, or a Bruce Springsteen lyric.
ALSO, my title refers to the fact that I took pictures inside today, woah Nelly! The weather has just been awful around these parts, but a girl has to work with what she's got! The light was quite alright on the second floor, so I thought I'd take my pictures there. Don't mind the Trainspotting poster, I bumped into it when I got into my position and it stayed all crooked and shiz throughout my little shoot. Ah well, just see it as my quirky personality shining through in my interior design skillz! :-D

A bit of a nineties does sixties outfit today. Just goes to show that mixing greys, whites and blacks doesn't make for a boring look as long as you work with prints and textures! I had some fun with my nails again too.
I just got this idea in my head of hearts on my nails, so I went ahead and tried it out! My left hand came out awesome, the right one was doable as well but not as perfect :-D I think it looks really cute and subtle, but my boyfriend couldn't help but make fun of me. He said that now, if I die in a horrible accident and can only be identified by bits of fingers and nails, the police will be VERY surprised to find out I'm not an eleven year old girl. Yes, his sense of humor is approximately as weird as mine. But I still think it looks adorable! I did the hearts by starting with a stripe that formed the bottom of the heart and the right heartlob, and in a second step I added the left lob! :-D Surprisingly easy.
Remember the Forever 21 opening party I told you guys about? Their tumblr page is back up, so you can all register to try and win some tickets to the event of the year! I'm pretty sure the party will be amazing, I will be there and there is going to be a fashion show with HOLOGRAMS GAH they cater to both my inner geek and my outer fashionista. What more can a girl ask? So hop over and register, and good luck!!
I'd like to end with a weird pose today.

ReplyDeletecute blouse
ReplyDeletelove the ring
Really cool nail effect, I don't care what your man says, I LOVE them and will probably be attempting them, copy-cat that I am ;)
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit Annebeth xxx
Inside pictures! I am loving these lady! The pencil skirt and geometric top is just wonderful. I am totally going to need to check out the Lady Gaga documentary :-) xx
ReplyDeleteI love those nails -- they might have an eleven year old feel, but they're pretty cute. I might try my hand (see what I did there? Puns!) at a more grown-up version. I love those little hearts!
ReplyDeleteOh I love those shoes. And those nails... so so lovely.

So pretty! Your nail polish is adorable =) Love the mix of the prints. It's funky and classy at the same time.

I'm not always a big fan of the print mixes but this one is gorgeous! Because the print on the skirt is so minimalistic, it goes so well with the beautiful yet bigger print on the blouse. Love love love it, perfect for a fancy dinner in my opinion (minus the nails mayby :) although I adore them and will be trying something similar)
ReplyDeleteYour nails are so cute, and don't seem like they belong to a little girl! I love the print mix, this outfit is brave and beautiful.

Some serious interior design skillz going on there - green skirting boards? Hell yeah :). Great print mixology too, the combination works really well.
ReplyDeleteBruce is my idol too, although if I ended up tattooing myself with the lyrics of his I liked most I'd start to look like some kind of E Street Band song book..
Oh, and thank you so much for the lovely blog comment! You're right, maybe I still have got "it" :). x
Ik ben niet zo'n Gagafan maar heb het interview toevallig gezien en vond het heel interessant.
ReplyDeleteLeuke outfit by the way. :-)
Haha zoiets zou mijn lief wss ook zeggen van die nagels :) I want those shoes btw!
ReplyDeleteLove this look. It's a bit different and somehow "grown up" and "ladylike" although your nails are not really ladylike :D but cuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!
ReplyDeleteDaaaaaang girl you look about seven feet tall in this outfit and super duper hot, too. I love that skirt on you!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos dear.like the mix and match in this outfit!really like your blog.i am following you now.hope u 'll follow back if u want :)
ReplyDeleteI love the Trainspotting poster on your wall! Ewan McGregor is my favorite! The heart nails are adorable too - I'll have to try something similar sometime. Really cute!
ReplyDeleteNetjes!
ReplyDeleteI love this new picture spot (haven't been around lately).
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty in this. It's classic, but the mixed prints make it even more fantastic.
