Hey you guys, even if EVERYONE on the web would tell me this skirt is fugly and my outfit sucks, I would still be happily hippity hoppiting around my living room because I’m SO in love with my vintage skirt. It’s one of the two beauties I bought at the secondhand store for 10 euro. How rare is it to find the EXACT thing you’re looking for in your EXACT size, especially when shopping secondhand? I’m not actually that experienced in the matter, but I had the impression it was HARD and here I am, in one of my PERFECT skirts. It’s so flowy and vibrant and the shape makes it perfect for either dressing it up or dressing it down. A bit of printmix (floral vs stripes), a bit of tone mix (darker red vs bright red) and here you have my outfit. I’m completely in love with it, but I already told you guys, right? There’s something about longer skirt that makes them more “I don’t give a damn about whether guys might find me attractive” than, let’s say, tight jeans, mini skirts or shorts. Longer skirts is what a girl wears when she wants to twirl around and feel good without wondering whether her ass looks good in her jeans. I’m all for a bit of feminism in fashion.
