How do you like my maternity blouse? I told you guys before, I’m absolutely positively drawn to anything leopard in the stores right now, so this pregnant ladies’ tunic in H&M’s mid season sale section had to come home with me. It just looks like a tunic slash dress with a hint of babydoll, doesn’t look like pregnant wear to me. I don’t see any problems. And if I ever want to get pregnant, at least I already have this blouse! I’m SUCH a practical thinker. If these boots ever die on me and go to shoe heaven, I might secretly shed a tear. I’ve never seen ankle boots as perfect as these and I doubt I’ll ever find some I can afford again after these. And I still thank the day I bought this turqoise necklace because it is THE best piece to spice any boring outfit up a bit.
I’d like to take this opportunity to blatantly market my friend’s starter chicblog, zoomusicgirl0 because I think she has an awesome, very individual take on style and her last outfit has an AWESOME DIY idea I intend on recreating one of these days. She’s a really smart, funny, gorgeous and all around awesome chick who totally gets most of the weird stuff I say (and that’s saying a lot), so send her some love and say hello!
When I woke up this morning and opened the shutters, I finally saw fall had hit us full force. Lots of fallen leaves, the lighting just had this softer fall angle instead of the harsh summer lighting, and the trees on the square opposite my window were starting to get specs of gold in between their green foliage. Fall is very pretty to look at, but I’ll still take her hotter sister Summer anyday.

thanks :D maybe your H&M still has it? people just forget to use their imagination when they shop and walk past this beauty! :D
ReplyDeleteYou put together the most awesome outfits ever! I would've never guessed this was a maternity blouse! You make it look so chic and sexy. I guess I won't think twice when I come upon a cute maternity item that I love:)
ReplyDeleteLOve the blouse. I went to H&M too just to look around a little...you know what women mean when they say "Just looking around!" I bought so much stuff in the Sales today...haha.
ReplyDeletesaskia: hahaha sales are evil, right? :D It is the WORST and at the same time the BEST to have your uni near a shopping district. You get all the best deals, but you are tempted way too often :D
ReplyDeletethe daily fashionista: thanks so much! stuff for pregnant girls gets cuter and cuter, so why shouldn't we partake in the fun? :D
Definitly!

That maternity blouse is so good! Sometimes I also buy things from the maternity section because I think they are cute... you are inspiring me to wear my pre-mom wear. I also appreciate that you look at it from a practical perspective on "...well, now if I get knocked up I'm ready!" hahahahaha!
