Pool with Sis and Body Diversity

Hi there! Summer is officially here, but it feels like it has been summer for about two months now. We didn't really have a winter to begin with, so I'm happy to say the weather has been pretty great for like, a year. And the past two months it has been extra great! I always enjoy pool/beach days with my swimming buddy sister and mom (my boyfriend hates pools and swimming in general), so it should come as no surprise that we jumped at the opportunity to soak up some sun (and chlorine) when the sun was shining on a free day some time ago. We visited the same pool as we did last year, Puyenbroeck. I wore a new bikini that unintentionally matched my sister's, and obvi I posed for some pictures because of all the reasons I already listed here. I would have added some unflattering pictures just to prove my point again, but uhm I seriously had zero unflattering ones this time. Yeah, I know how annoying that sounds. I'll try harder next time.

Still, YEAY for body diversity!

I think I already told you guys that I dropped my phone in the toilet a few months ago (yeah, really. The water was clean though!) and it has miraculously survived said dunk. However, whenever I'm near water, I now pack it into this neat little waterproof casing from the Voyager Cellular line that even allows you to take pictures under water. I haven't tested that yet because I'm still scared of ruining my phone, but I did test its waterproof-ness by swirling the case around in some water for a few minutes with a napkin inside, and the napkin stayed dry. I'll let you know when I've worked up the courage to take underwater pictures, but until then this case definitely keeps my water-related-worries at bay.

You can get your own handy waterproof peace of mind case for about 14.90€ at Media Markt, Cora, Krefel, Eurocenter or Proximus in Belgium. It's also available in other colours besides pink, btw, and you can totally use your phone while it is in the bag.

Here's to hoping we'll have more beautiful days like this one!

  9. Love both of your suits! I'd be scared of ruining my phone too. Underwater pictures might be enough to sway me but I'm not sure! We haven't had much of a summer around here, it's been cooler than normal but it's better than winter so I'm not complaining!

  11. That waterproof case sounds cool, but I'm not sure I would actually dare to use it in the water with my phone inside. However, it is a safe option when going out for drinks (in case someone or yourself spills their drink all over that precious phone).
