bomber jacket: c/o Adidas via Scottsmenswear- GREEK sweater: c/o Selected pre autumn 2014 - skirt: H&M - duffel bag: c/o GM Z - creeper brogues: Sacha - beanie: c/o Enes
First proper outfit of 2014, and I'm wearing some pretty awesome gifted pieces. The perfect raglan sleeved quilted bomber jacket was a piece that had been on my wishlist since foreverrrr and it just happened to come my way via scottsmenswear.com.
Remember when I said how unfair it was that womenswear is always loaded with superfluous crappy details while menswear is all classic and chic, specifically referring to bomber jackets? So it obviously comes as no surprise that I found this perfect jacket on an actual menswear webshop. Which is a great tip btw: if you're sick and tired of unnecessary cleavage, strass, studs, prints etc, check out the menswear section of your favourite shops. Especially when it comes to androgynous classics like blouses, t-shirts, jackets, coats, sneakers or even boyfriend jeans. I'm wearing a size small btw and I'm usually a EU36/UK8.
Second awesome piece: this abstract cherub printed sweatshirt via Selected. It's like a classic Christmas sweater, but COOL and not obnoxiously ugly! The brogues, beanie and duffel bag really pull all of it together in a sort of modernized version of British lad style.
Do you ever get clothing from the menswear department?
