Pink and Glitter by Zalando

shirt: c/o Oasap - pants: H&M - shoes: c/o Zalando

Ever since I was about 15 years old, I've been dreaming of one day becoming one of those elegant young women who wore heels everywhere and looked like moviestars 24/7. Sadly, ever since I was about 16 years old (and allowed to wear heels), I've been aware of the fact that heels are actually really incredibly uncomfortable 99% of the time. GOSH heels, why do you need to look so fly? At first I had hopes of getting used to the pain, or learning to walk in them properly so my feet wouldn't be killing me anymore. With time came the realization that my feet are just a pair of crybabies who simply can't bare to wear heels for extended periods of time. Bummer.

However, I ain't no quitter! Yes I do wear flats almost every day, but I still keep searching for the most comfortable heels out there for those occasions where I value my look over my comfort (which is almost never). Parties for example, or outings where I know I won't be having to do a lot of walking or standing. Like going to the movies! Or getting some french fries down the street! The best thing about wearing gaudy heels to a random, non dressy location like the local chip shop is the fact that you can look and feel like a WAG even though you hardly ever wear heels. SO GLAM!

Anyway, what I was getting at is that these (amazing, pink and sparkly) heels are actually really comfortable. I hate it when super high stilettos have a platform in front without using it to reduce the arch your foot has in the shoe, if you know what I'm saying. Just adding extra height rather than compensating the arch of your foot. But these don't do that! Yeay! I had a difficult time choosing between the pink and black option (the black one has even more glitter), but pink won in the end. Pink party shoes are the perfect way to add some oomph to a simple party dress.

GOD I talk a lot, don't I?

  1. Heel mooi gecombineerd die outfit! Echt leuke broek & schoenen!

  6. Plus, pink looks amazing with all the mint trends going around. Pink and green is my favouritest colour combination, and yayy for glitter.

  7. I dig dem shoes. A lot. Dit is echt my kinda outfit, heerlijk!

  11. I feel your high heel pain! I too, want to wear them all the time but I'm generally too lazy to stand the amount of pain they cause. Why do they have to look so good? WHYYY?

  12. Perfecte keuze!

  15. Well, we're not the only one. It's a fact, heels are hell. And people who wear them often get ugly feet at an early age. So I too try to avoid frequent wearing of heels.
Those look fierce and so so in love with these pants, wish my ass wouldn't look as huge as it does in light pants :p

  16. I'm in love with this color combination, and your heels! My feet also refuse to cooperate with my heels. I have pretty wide feet, so usually my pinky toes are squished. Also I sometimes get blisters in my achilles heel, although that happens with flats too. Sigh.

@InsomniaHeart:disqus I too fear the high heels ladies' ugly feet :-S Every other day, slouching around in ol' slippers is the solution for me :)

  20. I am in love with those shoes! And those pants! You look fantastic. I wish heels weren't so uncomfortable, seriously. I finally gave up on wearing them daily; although with my job, I can wear heels because I sit most of the time. (But then when I do walk, I trip... so...)
