Mod Orange Stripes Leather

skirt: Pimkie - sweater: H&M - collar: Zara - flats: Texto - watch: Swatch

Ah, my titles get more and more to the point as I keep blogging! I started with cheesy shit like song lyrics (not that using song lyrics as titles is for losers though, JUST SAYIN) and then I tried to find something witty concerning the subject of my post, but nothing too literal. Now I just tell it like it is, SIMPLE COMME BONJOUR. If I'm wearing diaper pants (aka harem pants), my title will probably be "Diaper Pants". If I'm eating pizza, I'll name that shit "Eating Pizza". Maybe "Pizza Party" if I'm feeling snazzy.

I can assure you though that the odds of me doing a post on pizza are 100% higher than me doing a post on harem pants. I mean I like a bit of free flowing air up in my business, but harem pants? Let's just keep it at a resounding "NO" on my behalf. Not that I hate em on other people, I just hate em in their own right. OK no I don't hate them I just felt like you would enjoy a semi-humorous rant about hating a certain piece of clothing. Since that's what us bloggers do, ya dig. GOD I'm so meta today.

My outfit is simple and retro without being twee, in case you hadn't noticed. The pleather (I love that word) skirt is old (like, at least 4 years. That's a fifth of vintage!) and one of those pieces that look tacky as hell when you look at it within the context of the store where it was hanging when I found it, but I loved it straight away and so do you. Admit it.

  3. This post made me smile. You seem like you're in a very happy mood. Also, your skirt. Amazing. But can I get some advice? On skirts like that, how do you make them not ride up when you move!??

  4. uhm, I haven't actually had any problem with that. I guess it has something to do with the fabric and the fit? Mine isn't tight, it just sits on my hips. I have no tips for not having skirts ride up though, maybe if you wear a slip underneath!

  7. Oh, (p)leather skirts, I just can't get enough of them. Not tacky at all (or I just choose to ignore the tackiness and prefer to see all the bright sides of them :) ) and you look very good in these pictures!

Your "scarf" is also very cool! Where can I get flats from Texto in Belgium?

  12. that's not memorable enough, I'll wear this watch a lot and I won't remember what outfit this is by looking at the title. Which I totally need to be capable of, in case I'm looking for a post :D
