Pastel Pink Tights

blouse, skirt, boots: Think Twice vintage - tights: H&M - beret: old, earrings: Primark

I forgot taking proper pictures of my make up so you'll have to wait until tomorrow for my make up post, sorry! I've been slaving over my master's thesis. I'm quite happy with the progress I'm making so all is good, even though I have a hard time falling asleep at night because I have a thousand things going through my mind after logging off. Don't get me wrong, I'm actually not complaining. As mentally exhausting as it may be, I'm actually enjoying the heck out of it. Intellectual labor is my kind of labor.

But sometimes the stress does run high and then I wish that nobody read this blog except for people on the other side of this planet so I could bitch and moan and nag about all the weight on my shoulders and the clouds in my head and feel sorry for myself from time to time without feeling like an egocentric brat. Maybe I should just get a good old fashioned diary.

Too many people read my blawg, boohoooo

  3. Also, I totally second gettin the diary! Not that I don't mind hearing your woes: I like reading about your life! I have three: the fashion blog, a dreamwidth account for just close friends when I need to vent, & then a paper diary when I just need to write for myself. :) It is so nice to sometimes write about day to day trials & tribulations.

  5. Hey, this is your blog and you can write whatever you want to! If I was working on a thesis, I'm pretty sure I'd be complaining to my friends, family, bus driver, cashier...

    Love the outfit too!

  12. I totally should. For some reason I have this vision in my mind that some day my blog and all my digital pictures will just disappear from the face of the earth, but a diary is more tangible, right?

  13. But I dislike it when people I know post things to bitch about me or other people I know, and everyone knows it's about that particular event but we all shut up because it's silly to start a fight about it, you know? Such a cry for attention. I just want to vent, not hurt people by venting, and since everyone I know basically reads this, I can't. Or at least not without adding some humor, while sometimes I just want to be dead serious :D

  18. You're aloud to vent about your thesis here... everyone else vents about theirs! I'm sure yours is going to be amazing! Get some sleep. : )

  19. Or "allowed" even... I guess I should get some sleep myself!

  20. yeah the thesis is a safe subject, but sometimes you want to vent about the more significant things in your life, like your friends or relatives or co workers or boyfriends and that just isn't possible when they read your blog :D
