Little House On The Prairie vol. 2

Sunday is probably my favorite day of the week, ESPECIALLY when Monday is a holiday, so Sunday is free of that whole "work tomorrow :(" worrying cycle. I get outta bed around 11 o'clock, shower, pull something out of my closet, do my make up, hurry on down to go over to the butcher's with my boyfriend, we have a big breakfast with fresh OJ, buns and boiled eggs. Afterwards, I chill on the couch, watch a movie, maybe take a nap. Then I take my outfit pics and start cooking while my boyfriend cleans up a bit, after which we eat our meal watching something on tv (usually a cooking show or something about animals :-D).

I love simple days like these. Peaceful, chilled out and filled with relaxation and yummy food.

I wore my new dress for the chillin': another 3 euro T2 buy. I already noticed it a few weeks ago and hoped it would stay in the racks until the sales. It did, so happy happy happy! It has a collar, is made of a very nice thin cotton and the little details like the trims and the buttons just make this a darling little peasant style dress. I'm pretty sure it says a lot about me as a person that my inspirations lean more towards farm than towards fierce :-D I'm so lame!

Yes, I need to clean these shoes. But they're clogs, right, they are s'posed to get dirty!

I've been messing around with my pictures in gimp (free photoshop-esque program for cheap people like me) and this looks weird but also soft, warm and vintage-y. Do you guys like it or not? Please tell!

dress: T2 vintage
cardi, clogs: H&M
purse: Pimkie
ring: Alex Monroe
nailpolish: Model's Own

  7. Heel erg leuk jurkje! Alleen vind ik de grijze hue die je haar krijgt van de fotobewerking een beetje gek, voor de rest zijn de kleuren inderdaad mooi en zacht.

  11. i don't like sundays, i am one of those people who hate the day because of the mondays! love the color combination of this look! the red with the green looks smashing! fabulous with that gorgeous cardigan! I love the vintage effect because it is so you! PS is way too hard for me, it is a very difficult program and i do not have the patients for it! so i love programs you can give you an instant effect!

  19. Ha, I finally found a pirated photoshop because I couldn't figure out the vintage look in gimp! I love this dress; it's right up my alley. And I don't know about farm, but I'm always most inspired by "common people" looks, rather than the Marie Antoinettes of the world!

  20. Love Sundays too, and yes, much better in the "a holiday after it" version....I've done nothing for the last 48 hours, except write a little, so I guess I did work and it wasn't as lazy as I tought it could.
Cute dress, another great find :P
