PANTS

So yeah, sometimes I wear pants. When I do I either go for high waisted and wide legged, or very tight fitting. I love how this kind of retro denim with the boater hat and the innocent white top reminds me a bit of Jane Birkin. Except for the fact that her straw basket is swapped for my straw hat! Consider that my incredibly intelligent personal input.

And Jane Birkin's original version:

She's so lovely. In fact she's holding a hat there, so my version is totally on the nose.

In fact, now we're talking about pants: I have received an awesome offer from a denim company to try out some of their styles! I got their email after I wore this outfit, so it must have been fate that I had JUST gotten into pants again. Anyway, can't wait to try out the denim and make it fit into my style! Actually my problem with pants is more about the top than about the pant: I hardly ever find a top that I feel really goes with a pant perfectly. I'm really fussy about things like that.

ANOTHER exciting little notice: I've been invited to the Regent Tweet event in London on the 25th of June! Travelling expenses are covered by the organisers so I basically get a free daytrip to LONDON OH MY GOD!!! If anyone wants to meet up: I'll be hanging around Regent Street! I'm incredibly excited. Anyone have any tips of stores/places to visit in the vicinity of Regent Street?

EDIT: OMG you guys this is freaky. Just for shiz and giggles and because I am bored I thought I'd go and see what I was wearing last year on this exact day to compare where I am not to where I was last year. And guess what. This is what I wore:
