Bare Back

My sincerest apologies for:

  • my facial expression being identical in all of today's pics
  • my dirty title
  • my not wearing a bra
  • the close ups of all kinds of bugs on our new daisy bush.
 My excuses:

  • I was happy because the weather over here has been absolutely ridiculously perfect. I cannot remember another day in my life with weather that was as perfect as this weather, I am not even slightly exaggerating.
  • whenever I have a silly title in mind, I am legally obligated to use it
  • the back of my dress-worn-as-top is too low and I don't have a sticky no strap bra because those things are expensive
  • I love the buglife going on in my bush

Shit, I just made things worse, right?

skirt: T2 vintage
dress as top, glasses, yellow nailpolish: H&M
sandals: sac d'anvers
lilac nailpolish: Catrice
rope belt: Pimkie
ring: Alex Monroe

  4. I love everything about this post! I really need to buy a low-back leotard or dress, because I think they look crazy amazing with full skirts like that one! Your styling is just spot-on here--the mix of patterns, rope belt, perfect summer sandals... And a little tongue-in-cheek post title never hurt anyone. ;)

  11. Definitely that last bit made it worse! Haha. Anyway, I was going to say you're getting more and more summery by the day, but if this is the best weather you've ever experienced ever, I guess there'll be a tipping point! ; )

  13. Oh I don't have one of those bras either. I usually just say screw it and stick on petals. Those are uber cheap at H&M!

I love the pretty skirt with your floral skirt. It's so fresh!

  21. Hi,
You should read the Flair of this week, especially page 85! Miss Kiriloff has written an article about my outfit and I had to mention my favorite blogs...guess who... =). christin x.

  24. Hehehe I loved your apologies and excuses lol- good weather makes for good moods and we just have to run with it. I also enjoyed your bug shot- it's so hard to catch them for a photograph because they always fly away! But the weather has been getting much better here, too, so much so that everything is blooming at once. They said that it is the worst year for pollen (so much is flying around everywhere that it looks like snow).

I'm glad you liked the pictures :) I use a Nikon D7000, and then I've discovered the world of picnik.com for editing. It's fabulous, free, and loads of fun. I'm seriously thinking of how to incorporate my makeup into my blog, too- I have to think of a good way to do a tutorial. Or at least include my favorite makeup of the moment! x

  27. Oddly enough, I didn't even think of the title as dirty until you said so. Nor did I notice the bralessness :p And I liked all the flowery closeups :D

  28. Annebeth,

First of all, I was so shocked to discover you're the styling dutchman I've heard so much about. :)

Secondly, I think this outfit and the rest of the photos represent everything I love about spring. The low back, a bright full skirt and sunshine that spreads warmth to the tip of your fingers.

    Love

  32. You look so cute. An exposed back is great, sexy but in an understated, subtle way. Much classier than cleavage.
What's the lipstick you're wearing? It looks a great colour.
