Watch me unravel

Hey guys! Sorry I didn't upload last night, I was out on the snowy streets of Gent enjoying some friends' company, having some drinks, laughing at silly jokes, throwing snowballs and bringing home movies + 1 friend who stayed over. My friend Greet stayed here the entire day today as well and we just made a cake, but she's gone now (she should totally come to my NEW YEAR'S EVE PARTY), so I have some time to blog! We weren't sure whether we'd be able to make it all the way to gent at first because of the snowfall. Seriously, Belgium looks like Austria right now. Lots and lots of snow. The government is advising people to stay in and not drive anywhere, since there is SO much snow! We had to help and push an old lady's car out of the heaps of white fluffy snow, so we were kind of anxious to venture out ourselves, but we did and we had fun. Driving slowly through the snow covered streets with a blanket covering my legs actually sort of made me feel as if I was in one of those horse pulled sleds in Central Park or something!
Gent was absolutely beautiful in the snow too, sort of reminded me of In Bruges (the movie, very funny, must see!).
stupid car ruining my shot

Anyway, this is what I wore!
 sweater: vintage
shorts: vintage levis
tights: H&M
boots: texto

this actually isn't a real hat, it's just a faux fur collar I rolled up and fastened with some hairpins. I'm planning on getting a real faux fur hat somewhere this week though, the weather is so cold!!

some of my friends and me!
we were having a silly faces contest

I'm not ashamed to say I won.

I've been trying to find the perfect way to spend my 100 euro voucher at River Island, and these are some of the options I came up with!

I'll probably go for the denim dress, would look so cute layered over a simple tshirt or some knitwear! I should really get help, I can't stop dressing like a 5 year old. And I'm also leaning towards the leopard with the bow. SO CUTE

  5. Great photos - I love your boots. All the item you picked are great but I think my faves are the leopard print dress (surprise surprise), the orangeish-peach one, and the black dress with lace trim. Either way I'm excited to know what you'll settle on!

I enjoyed the snow in Brussels and discovered a great place for brunch and cocktails, very NY, which made me truuuuuly happy.
