Nineties Revisited

I was PINING for a longer skirt so I just wore this bodycon black dress as a mid calf skirt. And I love love love how this looks, so I’ve set my mind even HARDER on the whole mid calf skirt trend. I wanted to go a bit nineties-grunge but still “pretty” so this is the end result. My hair was still wavy from my straight iron job the previous day! Awesomeness and perfect for this nineties look I had going on.
I ended up staying at home yesterday instead of prowling the shops, because our kitten is ill. Its eye is all gooey and it sneezes all the time, so I took him to the vet and have been rubbing some gel in his eyes and giving him pills and lots of love. The kitty is way too cute and sweet to be sick :(

Oh, and I’ve just finished reading The Grapes of Wrath. Someone here recommended Of Mice and Men to me when I asked for some book tips this summer, and I loved Of Mice and Men so I went for The Grapes of Wrath and my oh my, that book sure deserves its “classic” reputation. Amazing book, very well written, heartfelt and so touching. Both modest and philosophical, a total must read.

I’m going to get me sum’n to eat now!
